Greets Eats is perfectly situated near the Vinalhaven Ferry terminal, hence making it one of the first island eateries to welcome you to the friendly town. Enjoyed this treasure for a perfectly timed lunch (a little past noon) which enabled us to beat the crowd and get our lobster fix in. Their lobster roll is served as a split top roll generously filled with lobster morsels massaged with an appropriate amount of mayo to give the sweet lobster meat a creamy bath. It definitely feels like you get the entire lobster stuffed in this roll! The friendly staff manning this permanently stationed food truck are quick in handling orders and getting food out to the hungry crowd. And indeed a crowd formed quickly behind us. A crowd, based on the casual exchange between food staff and customer, were primarily made up of regulars. Great Eats is a wonderful welcome to receive whether a first time visitor to Vinalhaven or a local grabbing a bite.

Slam dunk all the way around! Seafood options were great and my daughter’s burger looked like a hamburger looks on the commercials.

Great spot overlooking the water. Right next door to the ferry and the co-op where you get your lobsters fresh. Good lobster roll. Great view. Liners are from the co-op next door. Props to them.

Greets has the best lobster roll, hands down. Delicious not too much of any one flavor to overpower the lobster. Eat delicious fries and lobster while watching today's catch come in. What's not to love.

The best anywhere in Maine! Amazing view. Amazing people. Best lobster BLT I've had all day.

Great lobster rolls! Highly recommend. Apparently there's a shortage of crabs so there were no crab rolls when we went.

Not the largest but best tasting lobster roll! Great for the price. Lobster co-op is constantly unloading boats right behind this place so it’s no wonder their lobster meat is as fresh as it gets. Hot dog with kraut hits home for a mobile lunch dispensary
